Chocolates and confections are sensitive and fragile items. We do our best to package your goods so they arrive safely for your enjoyment. We only ship Monday - Wednesday to reduce the chance of your package being left over the weekend.
Currently petite pig uses USPS for shipping to help keep costs down for the customer. Priority shipping can take 2-5 days for delivery and Express shipping is guaranteed 1-2 days for delivery. We only ship using Express shipping during the warmer months and each shipment is packed carefully with insulated wrap and cool packs.
Orders will not require a signature upon delivery unless requested and will be left at the shipping address if no one is available to accept the package. If a signature delivery is requested, the package will not be delivered until one is obtained. petite pig is not responsible for loss or damage after the package has been delivered or attempted delivery has been made, therefore we highly recommend your chocolates be sent to a location where the recipient is available when the package arrives. petite pig is not responsible for packages sent to the wrong address due to customer error.
Whenever possible we use recyclable or biodegradable materials when packing and encourage recycling your packaging when you have finished enjoying your confections. Chocolate and packing boxes can be recycled, cool packs are reusable and our cello bags are biodegradable.
We want you to enjoy your treats to the fullest. If for any reason you feel our products are not up to your standards or they have been damaged due to reasons other than customer error, please do not hesitate to contact us.
